So far, so good

Day 4  The bigger pups are doing great, and the smaller pups are getting stronger.  The pups are now where I would expect newborn pups to be.  We have our first 1 pounder - big Blue boy.  Their umbilical cords have dropped off and the pups are having "active sleep" with some jerking and other motor movements.  The pups have been gaining approximately 1 to 1.5 oz per day.   Overnight, the little pups lose out and barely maintain weight, but overall, they are gaining.  I have started doing BioSensor early neurological stimulation exercises with the stronger pups.  Supposed to start on Day 3, but delayed a bit with this bunch.  Riley was amazingly trusting when I handled her pups and caused them to vocalize a bit.
